Jack Johnson has worked with my friends over at Rock the Earth for years helping them raise money and awareness for their great cause. Was thrilled recently when i found out Johnson was recently photographed taking home one of my prints I illustrated for RTE (and hanging out in the RTE booth). Then I was also sent this picture of Jack wearing one of the tees I designed for Rock the Earth! Pretty cool when someone you admire likes what you are doing too.

Always thrilled when I purchase a new book. I know, everyone is now moving to the Kindle or iPad to read their favorite books but the tangibility of turning a page is hard to beat for me. Especially when we are talking about art books. Was honored to be featured in several of late. Was a huge honor to work with the magazine Family Circle on a recent spot for their Beach Read Round up. I created the headline illustration as well as support headline typography and several little birds that float around several pages. Really fun project. Created this poster for the AIGA who were celebrating an anniversary and asked 20 designers to design a poster for the event. Here was my contribution. Each was auctioned offed for the organization. I might have to turn this into an art print. Would you like it? I think it turned out pretty fun.
